What did you learn at Church today?

We have finally found a home church. After years of excuses and missing our old church we've settled into North Coast Calvary in Carlsbad. We are liking it a lot so far and Isaiah seems to really like it too. Yesterday as we were leaving he asked, "What did you learn in Church today Mommy and Daddy?" So we told him that we learned that Jesus loves us and is proud of us- because of who we are not what we do. So then we asked him what he learned in church today and he said, "Play-doh." I love it! We were thinking he was going to say something profound in true Isaiah fashion like- "Jesus wants us to forgive" but instead he said, "Play-doh" with a huge cheesy smile on his face.

When we went to pick up Lily she was happily playing in the lap of the caretaker. Until she saw us. Suddenly she was overcome with emotion and she stared crying real tears and leaning toward us with all her might. We couldn't help but laugh because it was so precious and sweet. Such raw emotion coming out of our little Tink all at once! We nicknamed her Tink because can be a tiny mean little sprite just like Tinkerbelle at times. Still, you can't help but love her!
