A Little Less CRAZY

So, I'm happy to report that life around here has been a little less crazy, and I think we're all adjusting to our new status as family of 4. I'm sure a big part of this has to do with Lily sleeping through the night! YEAHHHHH! I thought it would never happen, and then BOOM, she went from 730pm to 630am! 11 hours! And it has been at least that much for the last week- once 11.5! Oh glorious sleep! Now if only I could make myself go to bed earlier!

My dear sweet Isaiah is such an amazing big brother. I cannot believe how much he adores his little sister. I feared jealousy toward her, but so far, not one jealous moment- with her anyway. I know he misses our undivided attention, but he's never taken it out on her. He truly loves her and can't wait to see her every morning. He shares his toys with her- it's cute, everyday I put her in the swing after her (2nd) breakfast and minutes later I look at her tray on the swing and it is loaded with toys that Isaiah has brought to share with her. He shows empathy, love, concern and delight for her like I've never seen him show for anyone else.

Even though it was extremely hard in the begining (and it isn't over yet)- I'm so glad we had them close together because it just puts so much joy in my heart when I see Isaiah with Lily. Lily has taken to her big brother too. She loves to look at him and smile at him. I look forward to the future and wonder what kind of siblings they'll be.

I must admit that I'm a little bit addicted to my girl right now. She is just so chubby and sweet, I want to bite her! What a wonderful age- and I am so happy we get to go through this all too short infant phase again!

Fall has been a busy time for us! Actually it has been a very crazy year, and it's not about to stop now! I can't believe the holidays are upon us and this year will soon be over! I wish I could slow it all down so I can savor every moment.
