Our little chatterbox
If I hadn't mentioned before, Isaiah has been speaking in full on sentences for a few months now! It is too funny! I wish I could write down everything he says. Dave and I think that he has absolutely no inner dialogue. He thinks it, he says it- no private thoughts, everything comes out! He's been a running verbal commentary on EVERYTHING. Talking NONSTOP. It is always amusing and sometimes absolutely EXHAUSTING to keep up. One time I was in the back seat with him on the way home from an outing, and all I wanted to do was relax and close my eyes. Well all Isaiah wanted to do was TALK! About EVERYTHING he saw outside, the cars, trucks, clouds, colors of the cars, the moon, the sky, about me, trying to touch my face, count all my fingers, point out my eyes, ears, hair, etc. I feel like he has been talking nonstop for a few months now. I don't know where he gets it, Dave says from me, I say from Dave's side of the family! Anyway, lately it's so cute, everyday he asks, "Mommy (or Daddy), what's your name, Mommy(or Daddy)?" And we always answer, "My name is Mommy (or Daddy), what's your name?" and he says, "My name's I-see-ah." I'm sure if you're not a parent, or not related to us, this is absolutely boring to you! But if you've ever had a toddler, you will know how fascinating and fun their conversation can be! For the last few months Isaiah has been introducing himself to other kids at the playground. He will look at them, point to himself and say "I-see-ah!" And then he will point to the other kid, gesturing them to say their name, but most of the time there is no response. Then there are the slangs Dave is teaching our boy. He says this is to counteract my saying "cute" all the time. Now Isaiah says "BOOYAH" for no apparent reason. I'm sure there are many more to come.
Anyway, for Isaiah's phrase of the day today...
He's standing on his elephant toy looking at our turtles. "Hi turtles! How are you turtles? Are you swimming in the water? See you later turtles!"

Just wait until he teaches Isaiah to say "Go Raiders!"
Ella loves to say "The Bears" and "Go Cubbies!" It's so funny to hear her say it and to see the pride on Dad's face :) (He finally has someone to watch sports with, sort of ;) )
Enjoy every moment...I know you guys do!
