Dear Isaiah,

You are one smart cookie. You talk and talk and say so many things! You're my little chatterbox!

Here are some of your words and phrases that I would like to remember:

WOT- ROCK you love collecting rocks when we go on our walks. We have a pot full of your rocks next to the front door.

FROT - FROG

BOOT- book. Your very favorite is Goodnight Moon. You even whisper HUSH, when we get to the part with the old lady. But you love all books!

SIGH - two meanings, depending on what sign you are making in sign language. Either it means SORRY, or FLOWER

OATS - OOPS. You say OATS when you drop something or if you fall.

HUCK - HUG When you want a hug, you always say HUCK and then come up and hug us while patting us on the back with both hands.

MOMO - MORE.

WHASSA- WHAT'S THAT and WHOSSA - WHO'S THAT You point to people and things and ask what's that or who's that constantly, and you want me to name them or show you the sign for them. Then you try to repeat what I say/sign.

SHOW, SHOW, PA-PA? (sometimes followed by a scream) - SHOW SHOW, PAT PAT! You say this when you want to watch your favorite show (Little Einsteins). When you say this sometimes you bring me the remote control. Pat, pat is what they do on the show when revving up Rocket for take off. When Rocket takes off you get so excited you scream! I can't get over how much you love that show! You ask me to turn it on at least 5 times a day, but 2 is your limit!

BOOBOS- BLUEBERRIES Your favorite fruit. You will eat an entire bowl and you don't want to share! When mommy or daddy try to take one you say, NO! When you are done with the bowl, you even drink the blueberry water that's left in the bowl. Then you say, "MOMO! BOOBOS! MOMO!"

You say COOL now all the time. When you hear me say cool, you say cool too. I'm so old. I can't believe I say "cool" and now you say it too.

COOKIE- you are always asking for cookies, all day long, you ask for cookies!

GO, GO, GO! You say this when you are running down the street, or running at the beach, and anytime you are trying to run away from me!

SIDE? - OUTSIDE

ENNA? Ella. you love Ella - you ask for her everyday!

KEYS and SIT - When I say, "Isaiah, you wanna go check the mail?" You say KEYS, and point to the keys on the key ring. You insist on carrying to keys to the mailbox. SIT- you like to make it a point to sit on the curb every time we come back from the mailbox. You sit there and you look at me and say Ma-ie, SIT. You want me to sit too. You look so cute sitting on the curb. You're so little, your legs almost hang off!

GO ABYE - GO BYE BYE

POHPO- PURPLE This is the first color you learned. Daddy taught you what purple looks like and now you point it out and say it every chance you get. We are trying to teach you more, but you seem to like to say POHPO the best.

TEETO - TURTLE and BAS- BATH. You love to play with your plastic turtles when we take a bath!

I SEE YOU! You say this a lot. To me and daddy, to the dogs, to strangers at the grocery store! You got this from us playing PEEKABOO with you so much!

SUSHI - you love to eat sushi (California Rolls)

BICY- You like to try spicy stuff. When I tell you something is spicy, you want to taste it, sometimes you like it and eat it and then down half a glass of milk. Other times you make a face and spit it out.

SALSA- Daddy taught you this word, but you have no idea what it means. You just like to say it because it makes daddy laugh so much!

NUTS? You love nuts, macadamias, peanuts, and cashews!

HUCKY- Hungry

OATMEAL- one morning you told me "Ma-ie, hucky! Oatmeal!" This was your first (attempted) sentence! When we read Goodnight Moon, and we see the bowl full of mush, you pointed to it once and asked WHASSA? And I told you oatmeal. Now you say oatmeal when we get to that page.

MOON- you just love the moon- in the sky, in pictures, you always find the moon

CHOO CHOO- for Trains

BUS- you love to see buses. You also call all vans BUS.

APLAY- Airplane. You point them out everywhere we go.

There are so many more. Your little voice is so precious, I can't believe how much you have to say! You are learning new words everyday! Everyday has been an adventure!

CHEEWEES- Cherries- love them as much as BOOBOS (blueberries)

TACO- Daddy taught you this word but you really don't know what it means.

GWEEZ- squeeze

ANTS- you love looking at ants!

CIRCLE- your favorite shape. You point it out everywhere!

You're even bilingual!

AIYEE- Auntie in Chinese

AGOO- Uncle in Chinese

AYO- expression in Chinese like- Oh my. You sometimes say AYO when you are crying.
