I spend my day...
messing up the house and cleaning it up, and messing it up and cleaning it again. This goes on all day everyday! It's a vicious cycle! Like the laundry. As soon as I take a load out of the dryer, I'm ready to put another one in the wash. Peanut is a laundry making machine!
I'm sure Dave doesn't believe that I even clean it because when he gets home it happens to be when Isaiah and I are messing it up again! Okay, it's not just Isaiah, it's me too. But the baby stuff is all over! You can hardly walk in the family room without stepping on a giraffe or Isaiah's choochoo. The only way the house would stay clean is if Pootie and I left for the whole day and took all the baby stuff with us!
Isaiah seems to sleep less and less during the day (oh no!). When he does go down for a nap, I have to choose between taking a nap myself, cleaning the house, or personal time for myself (like shaving my legs)! I haven't taken many naps. Nor have I shaved my legs for months!
Crazy thing is, once my lil buddha falls asleep, I can't wait until he wakes up again. He is such a sweet little boy. I miss him too much when he is in dreamland! I often go in his room to watch him sleep. Then I get sidetracked and forget what I was doing in the first place. This is why things all over the house are half done. I'm too distracted by my little muse. I certainly do have that Mommy brain. The last 2 times I went to the store, I was too busy making googly eyes at him, I almost forgot my purchase at the counter!
