The Ocean's Ablaze

We are obsessed with the glow of the ocean! We went again last night to the beach to watch the magnificent waves! It looks like the waves are burning a bright blue fire. It is so hard to describe. Even pictures don't do it justice. You must see it for yourselves! I kept getting drawn into the water; that tide is sneaky! At first, the bottoms of my denim capris were wet. Next thing you know, I'm pretty much soaked up to my waist! But it was worth it. We love painting the glow in the sand! We're like kids totally fascinated with it, we can't get enough! Even Isaiah seems to stare at it, his eyes wide open! We tried to get video of it, but it was just too dark to see on camera. If you really want to see it, you're just going to have to come visit us!

I collected some ocean in a plastic bottle which we took home. We were eager to try experimenting! We took it into the bathroom where it was totally dark and shook it up. We couldn't believe our eyes- at first, we saw a faint glow, then a magical blue sparkle. Like Tinkerbelle herself sprinkled some of her pixie dust into our powder bath! Next we poured a small drop of vinegar into the bottle! WOW- lightning in a bottle! I'm sure we'll go again tonight. Who knows how long it will last!

Thanks for taking me to the beach to see the glowing ocean waves. It was awesome! I had a lot of fun, it was almost like a girls night out, with a slummber party and all! I wish we lived closer so we could hang out more. Thanks for being my best friend for the last 15 years! You are a super friend and a super mom! I can't wait until I become a mom too so our friendship can reach an even higher level. It's so wonderful watching you with Isaiah, you are so good with him!
